​I currently am living in Corvallis, but grew up in a beautiful and very historically significant part of New York State, Clinton, New York, home of Hamilton College, lovely landscapes and abundant wildlife.  My interest in art began as a child.  At that time I was fortunate enough to get a good public school education which included strong art, music and theater instruction.  This environment also provided significant exposure to regional art history.  As an adult, I have taken college courses in life drawing, oil painting, modern art history, understanding the visual arts, women in art, and oil painting, as well as local workshops.
